Join Emma for a relaxing calligraphy workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of modern dip pen lettering in a fun, supportive setting!
This workshop is perfect for beginners—no experience needed! Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, create handmade cards and gifts, or simply enjoy a mindful, screen-free activity, this workshop is for you. You do not need to have good handwriting to learn calligraphy, and this workshop is also suitable for left handed people!
This workshop begins at 10:30am and finishes at 12:30pm.

Make Your Own Sterling Silver Seaglass Necklace class with a Jen from The Pine in the Valley - Handmade Eco Jewellery
In this silver jewellery-making class in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire, you will have the opportunity to create your very own one-of-a-kind seaglass or scrap pottery pendant necklace.
During the workshop, you will learn how to select a piece of glass or pottery to use for your necklace. You'll then wrap it in recycled fine silver, resulting in a truly unique piece to take home with you at the end of the class.
Learn the basics of silversmithing techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, shaping the silver over your chosen stone, and polishing.
Your tutor will provide guidance every step of the way, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment for beginners.
No prior experience is required - this class is designed for those who are new to silversmithing and jewellery making.
By the end of the class, you will not only have experienced working with silver but also have a beautiful piece of jewellery to showcase - a pendant necklace that reflects your personal style and creativity.
